Plenty of wonderful new treasures this week, from private country house sales and Manor house attic sale that I stumbled upon by chance taking a wrong turn down a long country lane, a small trickle of cars queuing to enter the Ivy covered wrought Iron gates, a winding road through a measow of bluebells and quickly directed to park on a field below, on the opposite lawn tables laid out and my heart jumped treasures!! what a place to have a car boot I thought, to then be told oh! From The wonderful attic find ~ Here is a Scrumptious Victorian pair of Antique Canton silk embroidered baby shoes with white button front fastening on an electric blue silk with pearl white embroidered flowers and charming embroidered floral garlands with bows. The measurements are 14 cm long. Hand embroidered throughout. Dating from circa 1900.
