- History: \"There are very few homes in Manawa and vicinity that do not contain work done by Arthur C. Quimby, who for over twenty years conducted a photograph studio in Manawa. He learned the business at Dawson Studio at New London and in 1900 bought out the Manawa Studio from K.W. Shipman, continuing the business until September, 1920 when he was obliged to quit owing to ill health.For a number of years prior to 1920 he was a village justice of the peace. His death occurred February 3, 1931.
