ANTIQUE GOTHICORNATE BLACK FOREST CARVED CATHEDRAL CHALICE RELIQUARY SHELF. This listing is for an antiqueornate Black Forest, reticulated carved wooden wall shelf. The cathedral style shelf has fancy pierced sides and abottom back-panel with support braces. The top section hasan elaborate pierced carved design across the front with centernotched arch section topped with a cross design and is flanked by 2 leaf-like tops.There are additional swirl and leaf design on the sides and the inner back panel has a carved leaf-like design with a center hole for hanging. The shelf for holding the Chalice reliquary (or a candle or your favorite piece of artwork) measures approx. 4-3/8\" from the back to front edge and is 5\" wide.This pieceis in very good condition with minor wear and someslight splits, and one leaf edge missing(see close-upphotos) that, in no way, detract from the beauty of this piece. It measures approx. 23-1/2\" tall BY 9\" wide BY 5\" deep. When the item is packed SECURELY for shipping, it weighs 4 pounds. Please see similar item I have listed.(1474)
