The scales are enclosed in a mahogany (I think) case which isin a very good condition with a working clasp

In the lid is a lable showing the maker\'s name and (ATable by which may be calculated the value of any weight of diamond).

In a separate lidded compartment are an assortment of weights.

The case is 13cm long, 6cm wide and 3cm deep.

These would make anunusual addition to any collection of antique scales.
