Up for sale is an Alex Moulton AM7 in original gray color from 1986 in good and mostly original condition. The bicycle has been disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and all ball bearings (hubs, bottom bracket, head set, derailleur pulleys) where washed with solvent and freshly packed with new quality ball bearing grease. The front suspension was disassembled and overhauled. The Stronglight chainwheel, the chain and the Suntour 7-speed freewheel are in good condition. The wheel rims and the Zeus aluminum hubs are original and spin nicely.
Replaced parts are new Schwalbe Kojak tyres, new Schwalbe tubes, new Velox cotton rim tape, new brake shoes with new brake gums and a new Velox handle bar tape.
The original city handle bars with Weinmann brake levers, foam grips and original CLB brake cables I kept although the handlebars is a little out of shape. It is replaced with a used French Belleri (St. Etienne) racing handlebars with 25.0 mm diameter, Weinmann brake levers and black Shimano brake lever hoods and a new Velox handlebar tape. The saddle is a used Selle San Marco Rolls in good condition.
The frame and the original gray paint are in good condition. The only blemish is on the right seat stays. There is a little ding near the rear brake bridge.
The full suspension gives a smooth ride.
