Up for consideration is a rare hard to find Altenburg Saxony IRIS teapot with lid. The teapot is white & green luster with white embossed figures of women in various poses. The teapot is in very good vintage condition---no chips, cracks, repairs or discoloration. The green color & luster is very vibrant. The gold trim has a good bit of loss. The spout of the teapot is a little rough--I believe this is from manufacturing. Please see photos for condition. The pot is 7 1/2\" from spout to handle, 3 1/4\" tall without the lid, approx. 4\" tall with the lid on & 3 3/4\" in diameter at the top opening. This is a lovely piece--- don\'t let it get away!
