AMES M. 1850 FOOT OFFICERS SWORD:

This is an original Ames M. 1850 Foot Officers Sword. The blade is about 98% perfect withonly a couple of small dark spots up near the hilt.It is marked: AMES MFG. CO. CHICOPEE MASS. Handle has all of its sharkskin and complete and tight wire wrap. It has the original throat washer firmly in place and has its original Civil War period officer\'s bullion sword knot which is complete with no damage. Scabbard has approximately 95% of its original gun blued finish. There are only a few minor small dents on the brass drag. See photos for best idea of items and condition. Questions are welcomed.
