From an estate is this lovely Antique Victorian1850\'s 2 piece bodice/blouse and skirt set
This set has gone through many repairs and changes through time. Was used as a costume dress. Hook & eyes and snaps have been added through the years. Some areas are hand sewn and some look like done on machine. The set does have issues, stains and holes but still wearable and I am sure they can be reconstructed or perhaps copied for costumes and reproductions? Not certain of fabrics but black bodice feels like a rayon crepe and skirt is on the line of a satiny moire texture with no sheen. Crinoline slip added for fulless in photos is not included.
Blouse has long sleeves and metal hook & eye closure starts at neck on left side and goes down the front left chest, there are cloth covered buttons. Black lace delicately hand sewn on skirt. Skirt has 2 large metal hook & eyes and 2 metal snap closures in back
am guessing may fit med to large but please go by the measurements

underarm to underarm across front 21\" (42\")
shoulder seam to shoulder seam across 16\"
sleeve length from shoulder seam to wrist 22\"
lenght from back of neck to bottom 22\"
Skirt-
waist across front 16 1/2\" (33\")
length infront 36\" andat longest point in back40\"

They will show signs of usage, storage, or just plain aging and For Sanitary reasons and because most items unless stated has not seen the light of day in quite sometime, It is always a good idea to gently wash or dry-clean any items before wearing/using them. I do not guarantee the items come from pet free smoke free homes and may have odors which I am unaware of as I am not nose sensitive. I am sure you will want to clean the clothing before putting them to your body and wash the items before using them. Please keep in mind that my opinion on condition may vary from yours and I do not consider myself to be an expert on this or any other item I have listed. I am only human & may miss a point that may be important to you. I sell mostly vintage and / or preowned items and clothing and very rarely are they in mint condition/new unless otherwise stated. Vintage clothing is one of a kind, and by all means, it is not new. HOW I MEASURE: Item laid flat, measure it and then times the amount X 2. If you want to know if this will fit you, take a garment of yours that fits you well and measure it the same way. **Example-underarm to underarm across is 20\" (40\")
