Antique 1930s Concertone Banjolele Banjo Uke Musical Instrument w/ Original Case:

This isan antique Banjolele, or Banjo Uke , made by Concertone. It has the original case and appears to date to the early 1930s. It is made of maple. Approximately 21\" long and 7 1/2 inches wide. I believe it to be in good condition and am outlining what I know and see below!

The instrument is missing a bridge, but all the other parts of it are intact.

Turning keys/pegs appear to be original, as they are wood.
The neck is straight as it meets the head of the instrument. It has an original tailpiece and all the metal brackets and metal tension hoopare intact around the rim. It has a single square wooden \"rod\" that runs across the open back area. Concertone is stamped on the rod.
There are mother of pearl inlays fret markers along the fingerboard/fret area.
There is a vintagepainting of alake with trees and canoe being paddled across it that spans the entire vellum/calfskinface of the instrument.There are some light pencil marks, perhaps initials that are seen as well. The painting appears to be professionally done, or it is quite nice and detailed.
There is also a beautiful decorative band that has been painted perfectly around the entire perimeter of the head of the instrument. It\'s really nice and looks like an inlay, but is painted.
The vellum is very tight and there are no tears or punctures.
The case is original. It\'s in good condition, but the back hinge is broken, so it closes tightly and latches but would need a hinge repair on the back. Otherwise it is excellent, has no smells or mildew and is lined with a nice vintage velvet.
There are some strings on the instrument, but they are not tightened. I am leaving them on, but they are loose and would need to be replaced with something new and fresh.

Issues:

No bridge.
There are some age cracks that appear along the back at the base around the open back. You can see them in the photo. These are not deep or debilitating and are just the natural wear from age.
There are some slight scuffs on the backside, where the instrument would be laid down and picked up. This is natural wear from use.
There appears to be some sort of dark marks that can be seen on the inside of the back of instruments. I took a photo. Not sure if this is normal. But it does not seem to be an impacting issue.
No strings
Case has broken hinges at the back.
