American Brilliant Period (ABP) Cut Crystal Glass Bowl
This gorgeous vintage bowl came from an estate sale in Falls Church, Virginia along with 2 other similar pieces (one has already sold). The bowl is very heavy and quite thick but still has that nice \"ping\" when you tap the edge indicating a crystal piece.
The bowl features a beautiful design set inside outer pinwheels or starbursts with deeply cut fans/fronds in between. The bottom of the bowl is a real show-stopper with it\'s starburst inside of another starburst inside of a large hobstar. Alsoonthe bottom and working in between the designs on the sides are small X\'s and O\'s as well as grid/square textured triangles. There are so many design elements on this it\'s hard to capture them all! Please see photos for best description.
The sawtooth edge on the bowl is perfect - no chips, cracks or missing pieces. This looks almost like it was never used!
