A vintage butcher knife of unknown make, it has a 9 1/2\" blade that is well-used and has lots of grinding marks-someone did NOT know how to sharpen a good knife! 15 1/4\' overall length. The handle has 3 large brass cutler\'s rivets and a \"Diamond\" stamped into the wood, with some lettering inside-what I do not know, I cannot make it out. If anyone knows American butcher kitchen knives well, let me know the maker. I do think it was made in the U.S.A., probably in the 1900\'s, it looks like it was made maybe 1930\'s? possibly? Not sure. Needs a good re-grinding or sharpening, but will make a fine knife for the kitchen or even better \"Long knife\" for the Long Hunter or Fur Trade re-enactor, period enthusiast or hunter.
