5\" is the all metal glass case with a grained leather covering and felt lining. Very strong hinge set-up on these old-timers. Stamped in gold gilt: \"VAUGHAN & BURNETT / BRATTLEBORO, VT. / 141 MAIN ST.\". Inside is an ancient old pair of copper rimmed eyeglasses. The ear \"curves\" missing, the lens\' intact and not cracked. This is a \"marriage\".....the old glasses were dug(by bottle diggers) in upstate N.Y. and cleaned up some. The case itself purchased at an antique show. Gives a pretty good idea of the type of eyeglasses that the original case most likely held. Winner pays $3.00 forfortified, padded envelope mailing.
