Antique Chinese silk robe gold metallic embroidery Description

Grandiose and aristocratic sky blue silk robe with multi-colored embroidery: storks, butterflies, bees, flowers... Hand embroidery. Each stork is different, some hold prey in their beaks. Some wings are spread others - not.

Condition: the silk has some cracks mostly on the shoulder area on the back, please see photos.

Much of the gold metallic thread needs to be refastened. The silk embroidery is bright but the base silk has areas of fading: bottom back (to the right) and shoulders (slightly), see photos.
