Beautiful leather bag with silver charms, used by people to carry the ancestral coca leaf.
This leather bag coca has several compartments, both to bring the coca leaf, and lime for chewing coca leaf, coca leaf was widely used in rural areas of the altiplano, due to its great natural benefits.

The nineteenth century witnessed yet another transformation in rural areas: the passage of knapsack bag of wool, the coca brown leather decorated with small figures in relief of silver.
These voids pouches of leather with sterling silver, were objects of greater value, no doubt used by persons of a higher social level than carriers of the knapsack of wool, applied ornamentation reveals a world of animals and rustic characters.
The voids were used to carry the bag leaves the coca plant widely used in the highlands, Bolivia, Peru.
