Antique Civil War Possible Confederate Spear Point Bowie /FightingKnife measures 17 1/2\" overall and has a12\" Blade Signed \"AUSTIN\" ThisAntiqueBowie has a Staghandle with steel guard and silver mounts,it has a fancy silver pommel cap that has a few dings, the stag handle isin great shape and not cracked or chipped and has some cool cross hatch carved in it that is probably theater done work.This Bowie haswhat is probably the originalleather Sheath that fitslike a glove, it is crosshatch textured leather and in pretty good shape with a small hole in the tip. The name AUSTIN could be somehow related to the city or the family which both have a longhistory of Bowie Knives and makers. This is a Finely made old Bowie with great size and is tight as can be.
