Antique English Georgian sarcophagus shaped tea caddy. It is rosewood with floral and leaf inlay on the front and top arched panel. It has turned wood handles with wood rings. One ring, the left side is larger than the right side ring. It was probably replaced some time in the past. The escutcheon is mother of pearl. There are two inside compartments, rosewood lids with the original knobs. One of the lids is bowed. See last picture. Original wood bun feet. It measures 10\" wide, handle to handle, 5\" deep, and 7\" high. No cracks or breaks to the tea caddy. No missing lnlay. In great condition. Thanks for viewing.
