Offering this rare Fairbanks\' Registering Beam. I have researched but am not completely clear what this particular scale was used for. I know some were used to weigh trains and trucks but I\'m not sure if this is one of those or not. Either way it is a cool piece. Dimensions approximately 17\" x 14\" x 4 not counting the beams when extended. When you turn the knob one way the beam will extend about 10\" out from the base, turn the knob the other way and the beam will extend the same distance out the other side. Very heavy - weighs around 30 pounds.
