Antique French Black Forest Carved Box Jewelry Napoleon IIIThought to be Napoleon III. Hand carved, possibly mahogany with metal decorative elements on top.
Ornate carving of leaf & berries on top of the box with decorative scrolls on all sides.
The red paper interior inside appears to be original & has some tears due to the age of the box.
This box was well used. There are 2 pieces of molding missing from the top right side.
There is some wear on the edges.
There is no key for the box.
