Offered is a rare original metal shelf or mantle clock with the raised face image of a horned goat or depiction of devil on bottom.Face is dark but photographed lighter with digital camera.It measures approximately 12 1/2\" tall by 9\"wide at feet. Round top is 7\" across and works measure 4 7/16\" across. It is nicely cast with swirls and leaves. We found no markings as to maker or foundry. the only marks on back of clock are words Rev or Hev Fil;Aig Du Rev; Aig Des Heu and Mouvement which we felt were French. It is quite heavy but we do not know the metal. Case appears in good condition. Style appears as Japy Freres but no markings we could find. Clock is sold as is with no guarantee it works.

It has been been in storage for 45 plus years. It is from a New York City estate. Consignor is downsizing and anxious to sell. Make a fair offer and own this great rare piece of clock imagery today
