Antique French Victorian Tambour Lace Bridal Bodice Wedding Dress Shirt Silk TopGorgeous antique French Victorian era bridal bodice top. Exquisite off white ecru tambour lace inserts on the chest and sleeves, dainty tulle with hand done floral embroidery. Layer of ecru silk under the tambour lace. Scoop neck. Long sleeved. The silk cream liner is ripped up but the fine, delicate silk, lace, velvet, and chiffon are in lovely condition. Black silk inserts along the shoulders, cascading down to the waist o the left and right sides with sheer black silk accents with lace on either side of the shiny silk. The sheer silk covers the sleeves completely, trimmed with lovely purple velvet. There is a layer of tambour under each sleeve which shows through the sheer black silk. The tambour sleeves have a single black silk stripe on each forearm. The lace sleeves have 4 lace buttons at the wrist to fasten. Lovely pink silk insert above the waist with a purple velvet bow in the center. Just gorgeous. Fastens in back with a series of metal fish hooks. Black silk sash lines the bottom waist and meets in the back into a bow which fastens with a snap button. Overall nice antique condition. The liner is ripped up completely. Can easily be removed. The fine fabrics used on the outside have held up beautifully! Some ripping on waist interior ribbon as well. Some holes small stains. Please see photos. Approximate Measurements:
