This very unusual antique German beer Stein is a woman\'s face with leaves and fruit in her hair, the raised affect is like majolica as it is raised. It has a pewter flip top lid which seems to be bent or molded to fit the top of the head. Under the chin is \"Prosit\" and the mark on the bottom of the stein is Gesetzlich, Geschutzt with the numbers 1424, Germany. The base has a 3 7/8 inch diameter, the tallest height is 7 inches and this stein is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or breaks,
