Up for sale is this beautiful and guaranteed authentic antique German regimental stein. This stein stands 11 3/4\" tall and is 1/2L in size. I guarantee this stein is 111 years old, made in 1906.This stein is beautifully detailed in it\'s decor, with a team of soldiers and horses pulling a cannon. There is a white epulat with a red 9 and a flaming cannon ball on the front, in addition to many soldier implements (guns, saddle, shovel, swords, bugle, etc).The stein is named to Reservist Sell on the front. Below that is the unit information: 6. Battr. feld Art. Rgt. Gen., feldmarschall Graf Waldersee (Schlesw) Nr. 9. Itzehoe. 1904-06. There are two colorful side scenes. One of a solider on a horse, and the other of soldiers firing a cannon. There is a roster of men on both sides of the handle. There is a banner around the stein that says Erinnerng an meine Dienstzeit (in memory of my service), and two more slogans above that.The thumblift is a crowned spread winged eagle, and the finial is of two soldiers behind a cannon. There is a lithophane in the bottom of the stein of a soldier and his girl that is free of any lines (no damage). As you can see, the finial on top leans back a little where the soldiers stand on, this can probably be pushed back up but I\'m going to leave that to the new owner, and the pewter strap is a little loose that allows the lid to move 1/8\" from side to side.
