DESCRIPTION:Early antique trombone with old wood hard case. We are offering it as-is, as found.The Bell is marked The King Made By H.N. White Cleveland Ohio. It has the early lion head mark with the serial # 2637. The silver finish shows wear, dents & dings. No holes.The Slidesare both marked with the lion head logo as well both with serial #3357. We are not sure if the slide serial # should match the bell serial # but they are different. The slide has very minor dings and looks to have been repaired with solder around the part (spit release?) attached to the curved end. (See close-up photo).The Mouthpiece is marked F. Besson Brevetee (French). It is quite heavy solid brass.The Case shows much wear especially to edges, rips and it is broken around the top with missing pieces (see close up photo). Also both end clasps are missing, but the center one still works (near the handle).
We are offering this early trombone as-is, as found. We assume the parts could be used or it could be used for decoration or made into a lamp, etc. It has lots ofcharacter! IF you would prefer to only have the trombone/parts shipped and NOT the heavy case it would reduce the cost of shipping.

The numbers to no match on the 2 parts and the mouthpiece is a Besson not a HN White. This instrument and parts show dents & finish wear. The old woodhard case shows wear, rips, breaks and is dusty & dirty. We have not attempted to clean any parts/surfaces. We have no idea if it plays. Parts could be missing. If condition is an issue you may want to skip this one.Colors in photos may not be exact.Please ask any and all questions you may have BEFORE buying & view all 12 photos provided.Thank you.
