Antique Hockley Lamp & Limelight Company BRASS MINERS LAMP used by COAL MINING workers- w/ oval metal plate that indicates COLLIERY No. SERIAL No. (but no actual numbers marked on affixed plate- From what I found in research, the plate was usually marked once the lamp was assigned to a miner workman.) This paraffin lantern lamp has a big c-hook for hanging. This lantern lamp is marked on bottom with safety warning and info. It Measures about 7\" tall and is almost 8\" around, and just over 2 1/2\" base. Weighs more than 1 lb. This piece is in really nice EXCELLENT CONDITION- It appears this Miners Lamp has not been burned. Offered as is as found. **I forgot to take a photo with the based/wick screwed apart- it is in fine condition, and I can add this photo as soon as possible. Thanks!
