This is an antique cuckoo clock and not a recent replica or reproduction. It has a nice hand carved patina. I do not know how old it is but there is a date \"Sept. 24, 1925\" rubber stamped inside one of the 2 small side panels as shown in the photos.

The clock has been tested and it works fine. The bird comes out every 1/2 hour and says cuckoo. It made out of hand carved wood and has beautiful wood inlays as shown in the photos. The condition is good with some small pieces of the wood inlay border missing - see photos.

On the front in the center of the clock dial it is marked: \"MADE IN GERMANY KUEHL CLOCK CO. CHICAGO.\" On the removable back panel is says: \"MADE IN GERMANY\". Inside stamped on the metal clock mechanism it says: \"KUEHL CLOCK G. K. COMPANY GERMANY.\"

It comes with the two pine cone weights and 4 chains. The pendulum has a piece of the wood chipped off - see photos.

The approximate size without the weights or chains (just the clock body) is 46 x 41.5 x 15 cm or 18 x 16.25 x 5.75 inches. The two pine cones are approx. 20 cm long.
