Offered in this special sale is a rare and authentic large antique Korean chest that I purchased when I lived in Seoul in 1981. Original certificate of authenticity is included with this item, indicating that the chest was made in Kyunggi-do Province and dates from around 1830-1840. The chest is made from beautiful Dragon Wood, with exquisite brass hardware in a traditional bat motif. The chest measures 109 x 50 x 161 centimeters. It is sold \"as is\" in good antique condition, although you will note some normal signs of age, including wear, cracking and slight warping, and scratches and nicks to the finish. All sales are final so please ask any questions about condition concerns or request more photos before offerding or purchasing.
