Antique Nippon Noritake Coffee / Tea / Chocolate Pot - Morimura Moriage For Sale
This sale is for an antique Noritake Nippon coffee/tea/chocolate pot. It is hand painted with pink/redish roses and greenery, and decorated in gold and moriage.
This dish is marked on the back with the green
stamp and the “M” in a wreath (the M stands for Morimura). This stamp which is
also declared “Handpainted” in script, and “NIPPON” below, indicates that this
dish was produced between 1911 (when the mark was produced) and in use until
This dish was found in good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks on the main pot however there is a small hairline crack on the lid. (You MAY be able to see this in pics.) It measures approximately 9 3/4" tall and 6 3/4" from the spout to the handle. There is some wear as seen in pics along the gold trim, which is normal for a piece of this age.
Some cleaning will be needed as well. I leave that up to the buyer.
If interested, I have a few other pieces of Nippon for sale in my other sales.
