This is a Calvary Sword made in 1863 by the Ames Mfg. company of Chisopee Mass. The markings are stamped U.S. ADK 1863 on the side. The other side is stamped Ames Mfg. Chisopee, Mass. The handle has a crack in the leather about 1/3 of the length on the right side. The wire wrap is still present. The scabbard has a small dent about 1/3 of the way up on its left side; maybe from a musket ball. The scabbard has a small amount of rust and the blade shows some signs of use. The condition of this sword is in great condition for its age. Ship anywhere in lower 48 states. We don\'t ship international! Payment must be received within 7 days.
