Here are dazzling beaded decorations from the Plains of yore. I believe the fine antiques are Lakota and they have the pointed star sometimes called the \"Sioux Star\"The bottoms of these are decorated with fluffy plumage sprouting from metal tinkler cones. As you see, one end is missing. The backs of the rosettes display disintegrated threads and backing fabrics. These were likely descending from braids but also may have been from a headdress.
