This trap is 9 1/4 inches long x roughly 2 1/2\" wide. It is asplit and hollowed outlog with a spring loaded door that snaps shut as the rodentattemptsto reach the bait. It has leather hinges and a hook latch. The hinges are complete but came free of the nails. The trap works well, but should have small areas of metalcleaned of oxidation and oiled to allow its triggerto trip smoother.Interesting item, actual age unknown...
