This is a beautiful antique Seth Thomas mantle clock dated September 7, 1880! It is black with brown faux marble on the trim and top. The glass is in great shape and a stunning golden clock face shows through clearly. There is a neat design in white around the front body. This clock is a piece of art with all the detail and embellishments! There are two lions heads, one on each side, and it is raised about 1/2 inch by lion\'s feet stands.
It has been gutted on the inside and works and runs off a C cell battery. You can hear a soothing soft tick tock of the clock.The pillar on the right is missing one very small nail. Faux marbling is starting to crackle a bit, and there are a couple of slight dings here and there, but it adds to the character and antique appearance.

Considering this clock is from the 1800s it is in excellent outer condition. I hope I look this good when I\'m that age!
