This is a wonderful piece of history, an entirely original, Army Green Shaw Walker three-piece modular / stackable filing system. I will describe everything as best I can, and always try to be thorough in my descriptions.

As you can see from the photos, there are areas of surface rust, but the patina on this piece is fantastic. It is 18” wide by 19” deep by 40” high. It is a stackable unit - all of the units stack neatly and securely, but come apart from each other. The top is removable, and there is some surface rust on it. The vertical file and regular file units are in great internal condition and fully functional, with brass hardware. Externally on these, the paint looks good with minor flaws. The rare base has some rust and one of the legs has some rust-through in about the bottom inch, per the photo. Other than that one spot it looks solid. I have never seen another base like this for these pieces.

The piece overall is very clean with no damage other than what was described. I think a little bit of light steel wool and clearcoat would make this piece really pop. If you have any questions or would like more photos, please don’t hesitate to ask.
