21\" tall, antique, French, 1870s-1880s, probably made by Bontems, heavy brass clock wind-up type mechanism, gilt gesso wood base, gilt ormolu cage, this bird sings, moves head left and right, tail flaps up and down. Seems to work fine. This has wear to gold gilt gesso and ormolu. Repair patches to bellows. Original key. See pics.
