DescriptionsThe legs look like aluminum at first glance but closer inspection shows slight rust specs and a magnet sticks fast to both legs and seat showing they are steel made with iron.Stool dates to at least 1930\'s and more likely the 1920\'s and possibly earlier, possibly before 1900.One dual leg is still attached with the original rivets which have limbered up over the years creating a wobble, yet still this is a very sturdy seat due to the all steel construction.To reduce the wobble, some light foam padding was tightly wedged with a letter opener between the seat and legs where the two dual legs cross.Rivets gave out on the other dual leg and it was re-affixed with nuts and bolts many years ago - see fotos.
