I am listing this Van Briggle, Colorado Springs, pottery piece, a planter in the shape of a conch shell, open at the top (no holes in the bottom as a contemporary planter might have). My grandparents got it on a vacation trip and it was a showpiece intheir china cabinet for many decades.The shell is 9\" from tip to tip and 4\" at its tallest height. Beautiful huesranging fromburgundy to purple, even a hint of blue gray in the folds of the shell. Intact with no chips or cracks.
