There is no major damage to this quilt, and I would deem this item to be in good overall condition for it\'s age. Most examples of antique cigar ribbon quilts have been destroyed, or deteriorated over the years from age, but this listed item has stood the test of time well. The outside ribbon edge was added recently to give a trimmed edge to this quilt because when acquired by us it had a raw edge. The added ribbon edge can be removed, or the quilt can be framed with matting if the buyer so desires.
