Antique, hand-made doll.
Appears to be wearing patched, american style clothingHand Stitched cloth and hand carved wood.Doll comes from estate sale of German immigrant. There were many different dolls at the sale as well as specialized sewing machines (Singer) of German origin. I am not a doll expert, so please feel free to correct me in any of my listing details. I have not been able to find any markings on this doll or determine exact age/type.
Skin color is darker, so I\'m not sure if it is supposed to be an African-American or what... Doll also seems to be wearing a strange outfit of patched clothes with a guitar slung around his shoulder... reminds me of Emmett Kelley depression era character \"Weary Willie\" and \"Mammy\" style characters.
Any help further identifying the doll will be greatly appreciated...
