For your consideration is thisANTIQUE WWI M-1910 CANTEEN WITH COVER AND M-1912 BELT. This CANTEEN WITH COVER AND BELT has age appropriate wear and patina. The canteen is two piece aluminum construction with welded seams. It also has a domed, knurled cap with the silver chain intact. There are dents that are normally associated with the Lift The Dot closures from the cover. It is stamped U.S. L.F. & C. (Landers, Frary, and Clark 1918). The canteen cover is olive drab #9 (khaki) and marked L.C.C. & Co. (L.C. Chase & Co.) 7-18 on the inside right flap. The wool felt lining is intact and there is some oxidation on the LTD closures. It is marked U.S. on the front, as well as the words Troop and Adams as shown in photos. Someone in the past had marked their name on the cover and the belt. The web belt has some oxidation on the brass eyelets and buckle. There is a U.S. Coastal Artillery Medallion stamped with 62 C 45 on the inside surface of the belt. This piece would be a great find for a Militaria or WW1 Collector. Please use photos as part of condition description. Please zoom in, enlarge and inspect all pictures for complete condition.
