Just for fun if you look at pictures of Ackermann and Fritz Austrianporcelain candleholderbeehive markwith cherub ona Bing search engine on MSN it shows pictures thatI took of this exact item.I am not sure I am ready to be quoted as an expert, this is about the 6th or 7th time they have used my pictures, that I feel flattered on. This item displays much better than the pictures show. It is incredibly detailed and nicely enameled, the cherub I believe to be Handpainted.

Vintage Austrian Candlestick holder

This sale is for a beautiful Candlestick holder with ahand paintedcherubthat is by Ackermann and Fritz, Austria.I did a little research on the back stamp to come up with the name. I don\'t know anything else about the candlestick except that it is beautiful and very well executed with lots of detail. I am not an experton Austrian porcelain but itwould make a wonderful addition to your Antique or Vintage Porcelain collection.

Condition report: Theitem is in excellent vintagecondition, withtwoissues noted. It displaysbeautifullywithcondition commensurate with age. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS.I have examined this item under magnification and I believe it to be perfect except for veryminor wear ( not much )to the gold gilding and that an expensive taper, the kindwith the plastic bottoms to hold the wick, was inserted into the candlestick, and the plastic part is still inside; please see photographs. This in no way is noticeable, except if you shake the item, and it does not interfere with putting an other Taper in. This piece of plastic could be removed but I leave it to the new owner to doit or notas he or she sees fit. limits the number of pictures that I can post, just contact me and I will send you more.I have mentioned all issues that I note. I am more picky than most, but I point outanyissueseven if theyare normal forthe piece, ratherthan have you unhappy with your purchase.
