This is a beautiful example of an original Cheyenne Native American Indian beaded flat bag. This bag shows a double sided beadwork disign with the front having a large cross with beaded border and the reverse showing a rare teepee design with beaded border. (Cobalt, greasy yellow, and more, all sinew sewn) This piece was purchased and sold by Otto F. Ernst. Otto Ernst was a renowned saddle maker and would purchase Native American items to sell in his saddle shop and catalog. Otto Ernst Saddlrey, Sheridan Wyoming. This is from the King Saddlery Museum Collection. This Rare bag is from 1912-1938.
