Buyers fromCHINA, Please make sure you have the shipping address inHong Kongand it's on your PayPal, as we will Not ship beautiful Grosser example of the German cavalry officer's presentation saber of outstanding quality and massive proportions, wearing a fabulous large quill back blade of fine damascus steel with over one third of its length deeply etched and fire gilt with fabulous details of military trophies and floral scrolls, one side having a presentation inscription dated to 1894/95 and showing nice touch of blued highlights countering the letters, the rest showing very light patina and lovely active damascus steel patterns, the spine of the blade bearing a deeply etched maker's name and floral scrolls also heavily gilded and showing minimal wear. Massive brass hilt mounts still retaining much of their original gold finish and having fabulous deeply chiseled floral details and a silver crossed cavalry sabers insignia to the front langet, the fine shark skin grip with partially lacking silver wire topped with a fabulous backstrap and a large lion head pommel having lovely ruby eyes, original tassel still present though showing much wear. Solid and completely intact overall, comes with a replacement period scabbard leaving an inch gap when housed, the spine of the blade is serial marked. Fine and very special example and a powerful weapon, feels just fantastic in hand.
