Vintage used condition. No chips or cracks. Some surface scratches. Inside bottom needs cleaning. BLENKO Large Pitcher ART GLASS #977 designed by Winslow Anderson. Overall height just under 12\". Nice pontil on underside of flat 7.5\" diameter bottom. This is the epitome of mid century design. Interesting and unusual color, which I believe is amber, with a hue somewhat like drab gold or tarnished brass. Applied handle. Flat top with pinch at spout. A very attractive work of art for your authentic mid century modern American design decor or for your early 1950\'s or Blenko collection. Anderson was selected by Blenko as the first resident designer from among many talented artisans who trained at Alfred University in New York.
