This is areally nicerestored top of the line 1946-48 Ford & Mercury radio made byZenith (model 6MF 780). It is original 6-volt positive ground. This is the deluxe model with the side plug for the foot control switch should you choose to add one in the future. Also included is a copy of the original owners manual that offers information on setting the stations, station selections via the adjust-o-matic feature and manual tuning. Servicing ofthis radio included a thorough cleaning and lubrication, new capacitors and replacement of out of value resistors, great working vibrator, tested tubes, a new fuse link withnew fuse, a new eye terminal for easy installationanda working dial lamp. Everything works as it should including the station presets, station selections, manual tuning and tone control. The radio plays and soundsgreat with excellent reception and sensitivity, good tone andstrong volume and the adjust-o-matic feature responds fast, as it should. The radio not onlyplays well but it is invery nicecosmeticcondition withshiny chrome on the bezel and original knobs, very nice original knobs with no cracks in the plastic discs behind them, excellent original dial art and new lenses. The top and bottom covers are original not painted like most others you\'ll find in .
