This is a hard to find Benedict Indestructo Art Deco cocktail shaker from the 1930\'s. This piece was made by the M.S. Benedict Mfg. Co. of East Syracuse, NY. and is part of their \'Indestructo\' silver plated range. The bottom of the shaker bears the impressed mark \'Benedict, Indestructo. Non Tarnishable Plate\' and the model number \'1061\'. The top is removable and has an opening that opens and closes when the top is turned. This shaker measures approximately 8 1/2\" height x 4\" top diameter, Weighs 490 grams or 1.13 pounds. There are some signs of wear on the top along the opening (see photos).
