This *RARE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION WITH TOPPER* Black Forest Germany Cuckoo Clock from the EARLY 1900\'s (1900 to possibly 1910 Era) is COMPLETE andORIGINAL, and HAS BEEN COMPLETELY CLEANED/RESTORED. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT\'S AGE andKEEPS PERFECT TIME.

This cuckoo clock is ALL WOOD, with beautifully detailed wood handcarvings. The topper is held onto the clock roof by hooks, and has abeautifully hand carved bird in the center and is adorned with beautifullycarved maple leaves on either side. More beautifully detailed hand carvings of maple leaves adorn the perimeter of the dial. Centered belowthe clock dial is a beautifully hand carved large finial, with beautifully hand carved maple leaves on either side. Thiscuckoo clock measures 19 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. There are two side doors with latches on theclock housing. The solid brass movement is stamped Faller.Thecuckoo bird pops out of the door above clock dial and calls (cuckoos) on the fullhour (3 cuckoos for 3:00, 4 cuckoos for 4:00, etc), and cuckoos once on the half hour. The bellow tops have been replaced with new leather, and the bellows have been repapered. Theclock comes with it\'s original beautiful large hand carved “maple leaf” pendulumand two pine cone shaped cast iron weights with the original BRASS CHAINS andwire hooks.

I clean, oil, and adjust all of my cuckoo clocks before placing insales. What does cleaning this clock mean: The clock hands are removed fromthe front of the clock, and the cuckoo bird is detached from the door. The backdoor is opened. The bellows, movement, and chains are removed from the clockcase. The movement is thoroughly cleaned. It is then lubricated in the properplaces and hung on a stand with attached weights to restore function. Ifnecessary, the bellow tops are custom covered to maintain the original cuckoocall. The cuckoo bird is hand cleaned to maintain the original finish. Theclock hands are cleaned. The inside of the clock case is brushed clean. Theoutside of the clock case is rubbed with lemon oil. Then all the parts arereplaced back into the clock. The clock is then hung on the wall to make sureit is in working condition, and adjusted for accurate time.I do my best torestore all of my clocks to working condition while maintaining the originalbeauty of the clock. All clocks are described as accurately and honestly aspossible. My clocks are always in working condition when sold. Please keep inmind that my clocks are not new. These time pieces have signs of age that makethem distinctive and pretty, a beauty that only time can give.
