Adapter Caterpillar Communication Adapter II is connected to any computer (laptop or PC) for the car or the engine, gearbox and can perform all diagnostic services Caterpillar ET (Electronic Technician - Caterpillar Electronic Technician) software.

Caterpillar Communication Adapter II can perform diagnostic operations for all models of cars and Caterpillar engines with electronic control.

Diagnostic Tool provides a link between service tools and engine management system using various data links such as J1939/11, DeviceNet (future release), CAT DataLink, and J1708 (ATA) vehicle networks.

Flash program allows adapter firmware upgrades as additional features become available.

The program automatically selects J1939/11, when flashing the engine (reduces the flash by about 80%, from 14 minutes to 3 minutes).
