Before you purchase this service, please be aware that if parts need to be replaced in order for the doll to operate, there is a charge for those parts. I can no longer repair dolls for my customers and replace parts at no charge as I do have to purchase these parts. If your doll cannot be repaired without replacing parts, I will contact your before I repair the doll in order for you to decide if you wish to continue with the repair. There is a list of prices for parts that may be replaced. Payment for this service is requested within 48 hours of purchase using PayPal only.

This service includes repairs to vintage Chatty Cathy(all years), Tiny Chatty baby, Tiny Chatty Brother, Charmin Chatty and Singin\' Chatty. I also repair Timey Tell, Peachy and her Puppets andCasper the Friendy Ghost. I cannot repair Chatty Baby, Matty Mattel or Sister Belle as these dolls have very poor voice quality and were made with inferior materials. I also repair most of the clothed bodied Mattel dolls and puppets as well as the Small Talk dolls. Please send me a message if you have a doll other than Chatty Cathy andI will let you know if it is something that I can repair.

Everyone who owns and loves a Chatty Cathy or other Chatty family doll wants her to talk again. That is the whole purpose of the doll. This is a possibility now. I am offering voice box repairs for all Chatty dolls. The repairs will be completed using professional methods to bring the voice of these dolls back. I have repaired well overfive hundred of these dolls in the full range of Mattel Talking dolls from Chatty Cathy to Timey Tell.

As you know, these dolls range from 40 to54 years old now and the record inside of the doll can be in any type of condition. It is likely that there will be wear on the record and she may not sound like she did 50 years ago. If there is no excessive wear on the record, then she will have an audible voice. I cannot guarantee that your doll can be fixed once I open the torso. If the doll cannot be fixed, you will be given a full refund. Otherwise this is anAS IS service, which means if the repair is made I have no control over the quality of the record or volume. I will do my very best!I will only repair dolls that are complete and have their voice box inside.There is a charge for replacing broken or non-working parts. All of the parts used are vintage parts;

$3 charge for the replacement of the original vintage Chatty ring if it is missing

$3 for replacement teeth

$15 extra to remove turntable on Charmin Chatty( if string is broken)

$20 for the replacement of a record( if one is available)

$15 for the replacement of a turntable or tone arm

$ 6 for each limb being replaced

$20 for recurling the hair(a

I will be able to make other repairs to your doll, upon request. I will also take the very best care of your treasured doll while in my possession.

This is what I will do to your doll in order to complete the repair; Her torso will be opened, the string will be replacedand the belt that governs the talking mechanism will be replaced. All moving parts will be greased and the torso will be resealed without using any type of glue. Make sure that you understand that your doll will have to be opened in order to complete the repair. The seams will look neat when the torso is resealed.

Once you have purchased this service I will be in contact as to where to send the doll. You will ship the doll to me using USPS Parcel Post,or a similar type of shipping that is reasonable.Once the repair is completed, I will ship the doll back to you USPSin the same container as you shipped her to mein.The return shipping is included in the cost of the repair.
