Pair of silver plate urns made by Forbes Silver Company of Meriden Britannia Company, which eventually became International Silver. This trademark with 3 letters in shield followed by an eagle was used between 1894 and 1934 so that is how we date these pieces. They measure 10\" in height and 9\" in top diameter. They are solid, high quality, nicely made, weighing in at over 4 pounds apiece. They also do not leak when filled with a liquid. Being 100 years old, they are not pristine or perfect, but still very good condition. Nice light patina, no heavy scratches. Standing lion engraved onto one side of each one. Shipping is calculated by weight and includes $5 packaging material so that these will arrive in the same condition as I shipped them.
