An original Civil War document or paper dated December 26, 1864. I think this was once bound in a ledger or book with other papers. It says a Liuetenant Colonel is dismissed for irregular and improper conduct. It says he published a document which contained informaton useful to the enemy and prejudicial to the service of the United States, the President. There is writing on the back.

Thedocument is in very good condition with some lightwear.
