This neat Civil War era image is of a beautiful woman which one might refer to today asa pin-up girl. This unique photograph, which would have been considered quite risqué at the time, was produced by the studio of R.T. Gregory of Shelbyville, Tennessee. It comes from a collection of items which, for years, inhabited the plantation home of a well-known family in the vicinity of the Peaks of Otter out towards the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This piece would make an excellent addition to any collection.
